Kathleen O'Brien specializes in strategic management, cultural tourism, and marketing. She serves as director of Campus House, the department's teaching and research laboratory. She also advises the Club Managers Association of America student organization and serves as the TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) coordinator. O'Brien earned hospitality educator certification through the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Lodging Association in 2002.
