The Hospitality and Tourism Department uses three training laboratories as part of its academic program:
The department owns and operates this full computer laboratory, equipped with 24 computers and two laser printers. Some hospitality courses meet regularly in the lab, and hospitality students are shown preference with regard to open usage.
The food laboratory is used as a culinary training facility for coursework and catering activities throughout the year.
Campus House is the state-of-the-art training facility that serves as a social club for faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the college. The former residence of the first three Buffalo State College presidents, Campus House provides an innovative, hands-on teaching and research laboratory for hospitality students, who earn academic credit as they create original menus, manage and market the club, and conduct hospitality and tourism-related research.
