Susan Mary Paige, lecturer, Exceptional Education, presented "Autonomy in the Preservice Teacher: A Retention Factor in Special Education" at the national conference of the Council for Exceptional Children's Teacher Education Division, held in Biloxi, Mississippi, November 11–16. She also is on the planning committee for the division's 2005 conference in Portland, Maine.
