INTELLECTUAL FOUNDATIONS

FOR FACULTY

New courses, course revisions and applications for Intellectual Foundations designations are now submitted through the SahrePoint Electronic Course submission site.  All necessary forms are available at this site.  The IF Narrative forms are in the same file as the course proposal/revision forms.    Go to:

The Intellectual Foundations Narative should explain  how the course content, as described by the topical outline, fulfills each learning outcome for the Intellectual Foundations category.

Many courses will require SUNY General Education Review (SUNY GER) before they can be included as part of our Intellectual Foundations program.  This requires an additional form to be filed through the office of the Associate VP Curriculum and Assessment, Cleveland Hall room 513, (716) 878-5010 or lindnera@buffalostate.edu.  To download the SUNY-GER Approval Form (pdf)  please click here.
