The use of science and engineering in meeting the challenges of global development and environmental issues in the Western hemisphere.

BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS
The promulgation of programs to enhance trade, economic development and employment in the Francophone Western hemisphere.

HEALTH
Exploration of health related issues, including epidemiology and the delivery of medical care, to populations in the Francophone Western hemisphere.

EDUCATION
Proposals toward institutional affiliations, cooperation, and exchanges at the higher education level.

ARTS
Enhancing and exploring cooperation and exchanges among the visual and performing arts, in museum and public settings.

POLITICS
Discussions of cooperation of Francophone peoples in the Western hemisphere, together with their relationship to the Francophone world and global politics.

SPORTS
Exploration on exchanges of ideas and competitions.
