Dr. Rafika Merini, associate professor of French and Francophone literatures and cultures, received her Ph.D. from Binghamton University in 1992. She is the author of
Two Major Francophone Women Writers: Assia Djebar and Leila Sebbar, A Thematic Study of Their Work published by Peter Lang in 1999 and reprinted in paperback in 2001.
