The department offers the Charles A. Messner Award to outstanding students in the classics (Greek or Latin) and the Ernest S. Falbo Award to outstanding students in modern languages. Spanish students are eligible for The Javier Ortiz-Caledron and Maribel Garrett Award. The Dr. Eliane McKee French Education Scholarship is awarded to French Education students.
