he Archives of Buffalo State houses the official and historical documents of the college, dating from the 1860s to the present. They are located on the first floor of E. H. Butler Library.

The Archives has the Elms yearbooks from 1912; college catalogs from 1910; commencement programs, photographs, scrapbooks, memorabilia and statistics from 1860 on; college annual reports, budgets, and salary information; student records and publications; faculty publications and alumni publications collections to name just a few of the categories housed in Archives.

In addition, Archives and Special Collections houses scores of unique collections of local history, regional interest, and national significance. Please browse through these Special Collections.
