    A site maintained by a clinical psychologist with links to articles, research documents, and other Web sites. Divided into two segments: "Quick Reference Guide" has links to documents and sites on specific topics in psychology, while "Psychology Reference Guide" has links to comprehensive general psychology resources.

    Cyberlab for Psychological Research
    Created and maintained by a professor at Frostburg State University in Maryland, this site is designed for anyone interested in learning about research methods and topics in psychology. Information is included on theories, different types of research methods, understanding journal articles, primary and secondary sources, online searching, APA format, and more.

    Internet Public Library: Psychology
    Search this collection or browse the psychology reference section, which includes over two dozen links to general and specialized Web sites.

    Psych Web
    A large site with over a dozen categories, each containing many links. The category "Scholarly Resources in Order by Topic," is further subdivided into nearly 30 sections such as behavioral psychology, cross-cultural psychology, development, memory, personality, sensation and perception, sport psychology, and many others.

    Psychology Virtual Library
    A general guide to Web sites in psychology, divided into more than 15 categories including Basic Academic Psychology, Psychology of Religion, School Psychology, and Transpersonal Psychology.

    History of Psychology
    • Classics in the History of Psychology
      This site, developed at York University in Toronto and aimed at researchers, teachers, and college students, makes available the full texts of many historically significant psychology documents, all in the public domain. Over 20 books and more than 100 articles and chapters are available online, plus links to over 170 other works posted at other Web sites. Documents are searchable by author, topic, and keyword.

    • The Personality Project
      A guide for students interested in personality theory and research, this source provides links to important readings in the field, and sometimes to full-text sources. The site is divided into categories such as Recommended Readings, Academic Web pages, Nonacademic Web pages, and Special Advice for Students.

    Phobias
    • The Phobia List
      A very comprehensive Web site on phobias, including an alphabetical list of phobia names, an alphabetical list of things, with the name of the phobia associated with those things, a page about the treatment of phobias and more.

    Social Psychology
    • Social Psychology Network
      Maintained by a faculty member at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, this Web site includes over 5000 links to psychology-related resources. Its section on Social Psychology Subject Areas includes links to Web sites on broad topics such as the Psychology of Gender, Social Influence, and Group Behavior, with narrower subtopics like Mens' Studies and Resources, Persuasion and Propaganda, and Leadership Studies.

    • Mental Measurements Yearbook
      Information about and reviews of English-language standardized tests covering education, psychology, personality, and vocational aptitude.
