Poems:
Reality
At some point in life
Lessons repeat themselves
Once too often
Gray hairs turn
Their own shade of pewter
Bald spots sweat
And heartaches break
Then you realize
You've been there
One too many times
Goodbyes then imminent
Regrets weep in agony?
Souls walk inside out
Revealing festering injuries
Infected by microscopic images of us
Continuing to fade
In the distance
At some point in time
Old hopes repeat themselves
Sour your spirit
And die
Little Things Make Me Cry
The gentle touch of a hand
A tear covered smile
The sunrise over the mountains
My view as I gaze at you
Little things make me cry
The innocence of youth
A rain soaked puppy
The laughter of children playing
The wind across my face
Your eyes when they meet mine
The flutter of our true love
And the joy of loving you
