Carolyn Jolley, mezzo soprano, is a well known performer in the Western New York area. She has been a frequent performer with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchard Park Symphony and Chautauqua Symphony. Operatic experience includes fourteen years with the New York City Opera Company in summer residence at Artpark, the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City, Syracuse Opera, Opera Sacra and the Buffalo Opera Company. Ms. Jolley has preformed as a featured soloist with virtually all choral ensembles in Western New York, including frequent appearances with the Master Chorale, Camerata Singers, Buffalo Choral Arts Society as well as frequent guest appearances in local churches. She currently is a soloist at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Buffalo, New York.

Ms. Jolley enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the Frontier Central School District; building a program of excellence that is well known in the area. This program encompassed many musical disciplines incorporating Orff, Kodaly, and Dalcroze. She was known for her choral ensembles and musical theatre productions, providing and enriching education for her elementary students. She chaired the team designing a curriculum map and writing a new curriculum and lesson plan format for the district. Ms. Jolley enjoyed a long and productive relationship with SUNY Fredonia supervising and mentoring student teachers. She conducted the Erie County and Chautauqua County choruses and served as an ECMEA Solo Festival and Niagara County Judge. She is an Associate Professor in music education at Houghton College and currently maintains an active private vocal studio in Orchard Park.

She is a member of honorary fraternities Sigma Alpha Iota and Delta Kappa Gamma.
