David Schiavone is a lecturer of applied saxophone at Buffalo State College and maintains a busy freelance career as a symphonic and jazz musician. He has toured with The Woody Herman Orchestra, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, and The Tonight Show Band with Doc Severinsen. Schiavone has been featured with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Four Tops, The Temptations, Gladys Knight, Louis Bellson, Natalie Cole, and Harry Connick Jr. Schiavone also serves on the faculty at Villa Maria and Canisius College.
