Lecture Recital by Visiting Scholar and Pianist Zhou Qin
Time: 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Location: Rockwell Hall, Third Floor
Professor Zhou Qin, BTTCHE visiting scholar and pianist from Beijing, China, will present a lecture recital on the development of contemporary Chinese piano music. Her presentation will include performances, recordings, and a Powerpoint presentation. This event is open to the public. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

Lois Klein Piano Recital Series: Pianist Orlay Alonso
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall
This year's guest artist is Cuban pianist Orlay Alonso. Alonso has garnered top prizes in numerous piano competitions and has concertized throughout the United States. His program will feature works by Liszt, Beethoven, and Albeniz. In addition, Alonso will perform Erik Satie's suite "Sport et Divertissement" with special guest narrator Peter Hall, program host on WNED-FM 94.5.
