NIAGARA MOVEMENT CENTENNIAL DISTINGUISHED LECTURE SERIES

Karima Amin—author, consultant, folklorist, and literacy consultant—will conduct workshops for young people, ages seven to twelve, during each program.

Amin is a full time professional storyteller who has shared tales with audiences throughout the United States and Ontario, Canada. She is one of the founding members of "Spin-A-Story Tellers," a group that promotes the art of storytelling in Western New York.

A native of Buffalo, New York, Amin has many years to her credit as a dedicated educator, artistically accomplished storyteller, and published author. Amin's biography appears in Who's Who Among African Americans.
