What is the New York State Speech-Language Pathology Consortium?
The New York State Speech-Language Pathology Consortium consists of a cohort of 18 colleges and universities dedicated to addressing the personnel shortages in speech-language pathology in New York State.
The cohorts located in Upstate New York include:

- Nazareth College
- SUNY at Buffalo
- SUNY Cortland
- SUNY Fredonia
- SUNY Geneseo
- SUNY New Paltz
- SUNY Plattsburgh
- Syracuse University
- The College of Saint Rose
Downstate cohorts involved in the Consortium are:
- Teachers College, Columbia University
- Hofstra University
- Long Island University – Brooklyn
- Long Island University – C.W. Post
- New York Medical College
- St. John's University
The consortium is funded through a grant from VESID.
