Some Other Do's and Don'ts in Successful Interviewing


Do
  • Be prompt, neat, and courteous to everyone.
  • Allow the interviewer to express themselves.
  • Make yourself understood and follow procedures.
  • Present informative credentials.
  • Think of your potential contribution to the employer.
Don't
  • Criticize yourself or others.
  • Freeze or become impatient or emotional.
  • Talk too much or too little.
  • Stretch out the interview.
  • Make elaborate promises.
  • Come unprepared.
  • Ask about starting salary or benefits.
