2008 Community Service Faculty
Fellowships
Join the growing number of BSC faculty involved with service-learning! Applications are now being accepted for the 2008-2009 Community Service Faculty Fellowship Program with the Buffalo State College Volunteer and Service-Learning Center (VSLC). Faculty fellows receive a $1000 stipend, service-learning course and conversion training, resources to assist with service-learning course development, and support from VSLC staff through the implementation of the course.
Please read the additional information on the application, and we invite you to talk with us about potential community service projects and ideas, as well as discuss your role in service-learning.
You may also find it valuable to contact one or more of the 50 previous Faculty Fellows for information on their experiences in the program. A list of fellows is available below, and all are willing to discuss their experiences.
We look forward to hearing from you! Remember the application deadline is April 1, 2008!
