The Financial Aid Office, located in Moot Hall, administers the federal financial aid programs at Buffalo State College. We also assist students with acquiring state aid and aid from private organizations.
Staff in the Financial Aid Office are available year round to assist families with the application process and with questions related to the receipt of their aid.
Book Deferments are available in the financial aid office until Friday, August 29. Before requesting a book deferment students should price their books at the Barnes & Noble website.
For students planning to teach upon graduation Buffalo State will be administering the new federal TEACH Grant program. In September we will contact all students meeting the eligibility criteria about participating. In light of the fact that this grant will turn into a loan with retroactive interest if the service agreement is not completed we recommend that interested students review the rules of the program at www.teachgrant.ed.gov.
