Introduction
The purpose of the Performance Evaluation and Professional Development System is to clarify job expectations, encourage and support professional development, and provide quality feedback.  

The foundation of the system is ongoing, two-way communication between the supervisor and

employee.  The steps of the process and roles are explained in Overview of the Process.
