Full-time employees earn vacation and sick leave credit at 1.75 days per month (21 days a year).  On January 1 of each calendar year, accumulated vacation credits in excess of 40 days are forfeited.  Sick leave may be accumulated up to a maximum of 200 days.

You must be in full-pay status for the major fraction of a month in order to earn vacation and sick leave credits for that month.

Eligible part-time employees earn credits on a prorated basis.
