Assistance is available through the following two programs:

The SUNY Tuition Waiver Program is an official "forgiveness" of part of the tuition (excluding fees) for up to two courses a semester taken at a State-operated campus in the SUNY system. The percentage of tuition that can be waived is determined by the number of applicants and available funding. The applicant must be admitted (or readmitted) to a participating school on a matriculated or non-matriculated basis. You may download an application or contact the Employee Benefits Office, CLEV 410, ext. 4821.

The UUP Space Available Program is an official "forgiveness" of all of the tuition (excluding fees) for one course each semester taken at any State-operated campus in the SUNY system.  Applicants must be admitted on a matriculated or non-matriculated basis.  If the course is being taken at Buffalo State, you may download an application or contact the Employee Benefits Office, CLEV 410, ext. 4821.  If the course is being taken at the University at Buffalo, you may review the procedures and register for the course on their website.
