Flu Vaccine Clinics


2012 Flu Vaccine Clinics

Flu Vaccines will be available on campus on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, and Thursday, October 11, 2012, in E.H. Butler Library 210 from 11:00 a.m. through 2 p.m.

No appointment is necessary. The vaccine will be available in shot or mist form.

The following insurances will be accepted:  Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY (Community Blue), Independent Health, Blue Choice, and Medicare Part B, provided they show their health plan ID cards. (Participation and acceptance of any insurance is not a guarantee of benefits or payment in full. Co-payments or a deductible may apply. Please call your insurance provider member services with questions regarding coverage.)

Employees without proper insurance coverage will be charged $25 for the flu shot or $35 for the flu mist.

Empire Plan enrollees can obtain their flu shot from a participating provider (doctor’s) office for their usual co-pay, if they wish to do so.

2011 Flu Vaccine Clinics

Flu Vaccines will be available on campus on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, in the Student Union Assembly Hall and Thursday, October 6, 2011, in E.H. Butler Library 210 from 11:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.

No appointment is necessary. The vaccine will be available in shot or mist form.

The following insurances will be accepted; Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY (Community Blue), Independent Health, Blue Choice, and Medicare Part B, provided they show their health plan ID cards. 2010 Flu Shot Clinics

Flu Shots will be given in the Campbell Student Union Assembly Hall on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, and Thursday, October 7, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.  No appointment is necessary.

The vaccine which will be available will protect against both seasonal influenza and H1N1 (Swine Flu). It will be available in shot or mist form.

The following insurances will be accepted; Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY (Community Blue), Independent Health, Blue Choice, and Medicare Part B, provided they show their health plan ID cards.

Employees without proper insurance coverage will be charged $30 for the flu shot.

2009 Seasonal Flu Shot Clinics

10/19/09 NOTE:  We have just been informed by Independent Nursing that the Flu Shot Clinic scheduled for October 20th has been cancelled due to the vaccine being unavailable.

Seasonal Flu Shots will be given in the Campbell Student Union Assembly Hall on the following dates:

Thursday, October 1, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. - CANCELLED

2008 Flu Shots

Flu shots will be given in the Campbell Student Union lobby on the following dates:

Thursday, October 2, from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 21, from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

No appointment is necessary. There will be no cost to employees covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY (Community Blue), Independent Health, Univera, Blue Choice, Preferred Care, and Medicare Part B who show valid insurance ID cards.

Employees without the designated insurance coverage will be charged $30 for the shot.
