UUP-represented employees observe Election Day on the day after Thanksgiving, Friday November 23, 2012. Classes are scheduled on both floating holidays, so all other eligible employees will receive credit for a holiday on those dates and may arrange with their supervisors to use them on a date of their choice before the holiday recurs.

(b) Under the Attendance Rules when a holiday falls on a Sunday it is observed on the following Monday.  New Year's Day will be observed on Monday, January 2, 2012, and Lincoln's Birthday may be optionally observed on Monday, February 13, 2012. Veteran's Day will be observed on Monday, November 12, 2012.
