Incumbents are working supervisors within the area of assigned responsibility, and may perform tasks in a variety of the trades. Job requirements include: working knowledge of the methods, materials and equipment used in the mechanical, electrical and/or building trades; working knowledge of the principles of supervision; working knowledge of applicable agency standards & of appropriate building and construction code regulations; working knowledge of safety procedures; ability to train & supervise others; ability to use the tools, machines, equipment & materials of the mechanical, electrical and/or building trades; ability to plan & schedule work, including determining staff, equipment & supplies needed; ability to read & interpret plans, diagrams, architectural blueprints & specifications; ability to understand & carry out oral and written instructions. | | Posting Deadline: | 5/10/2008 |
