Areas of Expertise:
Graphic design (posters, brochures, logos, PowerPoint presentations, book layout), digital imaging (scanning slides, photos, transparencies, and color-correction of images), creation of PDF files, CD labels and duplication, and Web site development and design. Software used: Adobe products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat), Macromedia products (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Director), QuarkXpress, TextBridge, and Microsoft Office XP.

Kaylene Waite has over 12 years of experience in the graphic design industry. She worked as a high school art teacher, graphic designer, and Web developer. She received a BFA in graphic design with teaching certification from Old Dominion University in Virginia and certification as a Web designer and Web developer from the University at Buffalo. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in the Educational Computing program here at Buffalo State College. Her current position involves working with faculty and staff to meet all of their computer imaging needs. She also offers training in graphics and web programs either in a workshop or one-on-one environment.
