1. Click into the course and then click on the Lesson’s Tab
   
   
2. Locate the Crossword Puzzle
   
   
3. Click on a blank box. The question along with an answer box appears. The Hint button provides a letter at a time to assist the user in solving the puzzle. However, using  the “Hint” deducts points from the overall score.
   
   
4. Click the Submit button when your answer is complete.Continue this process until all blanks are complete for the crossword puzzle.
   
   
5. When all words are complete in the crossword puzzle, the Submit button appears to submit the entire puzzle.

The crossword puzzle automatically grades and sends the grade to the course gradebook( if your instructor is using the ANGEL gradebook. The grade is based on the number of hints the user selects and the number of incorrect responses for each word.
