OPENING DAY AT LILY DALE

The Lily Dale Assembly opens its 130th season on Friday, June 26th. Lily Dale is a cozy, lakeside community dedicated to the religion of Spiritualism since 1879. This lovely Victorian village hosts hundreds of workshops and special events during its summer season through September 7th.

For our “Partners Day at Lily Dale”, we’ll have options with guests able to make a schedule to suit their particular interests. The bus will arrive at 9:30 am and meet guide Carol Lorenc at the main gate. Maps of the grounds and oportunities will be discussed. To get a feel for the unique natural aspects of Lily Dale, we will start with a walk of the Boulevard from the beach to the Fairy Trail to the old growth forest of the Leolyn Woods. (Easy walking but proper footwear is recommended.)

If relaxing is more your style, coffee & great pastries (including their signature lavender shortbread!) are available for purchase at Cup-a-Joe’s and may be enjoyed on their wrap-around porch. Those who wish to experience Lily Dale’s programs may start with the Healing Service at 10:30 am, walk over to the Marion Skidmore Library for an introductory video shown at 11:30 am, and stop at the Museum on the way to Inspiration Stump for the 1 pm Message Service (all free).

We have arranged for box lunches that may be enjoyed on the waterfront pavilion or Melrose Park or any other spot that appeals to you.

If shopping is your interest, the Bookstore, Crystal Cove, Lily Pad, Bargain Shoppe or Herbs for Life have everything from crystals to imported clothing. Guests may make their own arrangements in advance for a private reading, if desired. Information is available at www.lilydaleassembly.org.
