Overview

What is the Student Support Services Program (SSSP)?

The Student Support Services Program is a Title IV, federally-funded project designed to provide academic and personal support services to eligible students.

Who is eligible?

You must be:

a full-time Buffalo State student
a United States Citizen or permanent resident of the United States

and at least one of the following:

requiring special services due to disability
a first generation college student
economically disadvantaged/ low income

Do you qualify?

If you were a prior participant in any TRIO programs (Upward Bound, Talent Search, or Liberty Partnership) you automatically qualify for the Student Support Services Program.

Location and hours:

SSSP is located in South Wing 210. We are open Monday & Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tutors are available by appointment. Stop by or call (716) 878-4042.
