This thesis is a multi-method study involving the relationship of cognitive style with perceptions of creative climate. The analysis was conducted using the Kirton Adaption-Innovation Inventory (KAI) and the Climate for Innovation Questionnaire (CIQ). There were a total of 147 participants. Groups were formed into strongly adaptive and strongly innovative. These groups were similar because they both exhibited interest in communication and a desire to conduct research. They are also different because they value community differently, approach obstacles differently, and hold different kinds of relationships.
