This project addresses the conceptual links between a specific problem solving process used in Problem Oriented Policing referred to as the Scanning, Analysis, Response and Assessment (SARA) model and the CPS process. The author found more differences than similarities while trying to use CPS as an enhancment to the SARA model. She believes that incorporating the two together may work because of the flexibility of the SARA model and the creative tools that CPS can add to the process.
