Focusing on the effort of linking Creative Problem Solving (CPS) to other areas and constructs, this project presents a collection of thinking tools drawn from a diverse set of literature and organized in accordance with the new skill-based version of CPS. Forty-four thinking tools, other than the 'classic' CPS tools, are analyzed, described and cataloged within the seven steps of the new CPS framework and classified by the main categories of divergent and convergent thinking. For each tool the following information is provided: name, purpose, function, divergent/convergent category, sources and remarks.
