The master's project reported on a pilot study of uses of information technology as it relates to creativity, innovation and problem solving. The methodology used was a review of scholarly literature and software applications. The result was 108 new annotations entered onto the Creativity Based Information Resources (CBIR) database. These annotations identified a link between information technology and creativity as applied to three areas: business, industry and organizations; education; and artificial intelligence and cognition. The author concluded that the reported findings provide a foundation for further inquiry into the area.
