Book Chapter (ISBN: 1-56750-008-0)
An article which explores problem finding, defining, and teaching behaviors using three groups of subjects: experienced teachers, student teachers, and pre-student teaching subjects in order to better understand and replicate the cognitive processes involved. The ultimate goal of the research is to determine when teachers become teachers, when and how they are able to use their problem defining skills most effectively, and will it be possible to help students structure knowledge about teaching or does the knowledge only come with the years.
