A paper written on the premise that the behavior of educational leaders is one of the most critical factors supporting high quality school programs. At the University of Northern Colorado, College of Education, the Division of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies is restructuring based on this belief. They have developed five core learning experiences that together provide a knowledge base that integrates understandings from diverse disciplines. Through this program, the University wants to focus on both the personal and the professional formation of future leaders.
