The authors discussed a problem-solving method which may be useful in the supervision of speech-language-hearing programs. Model includes both: (a) aspects of development (i.e., identification, reflection, modification, etc.); and (b) component operations (i.e., required skills obtained through experience) which may lead to a number of different procedures (i.e., specific supervisory methods). Practical examples were given. Implications for public school supervision were discussed.
