As you begin this new and exciting journey, we invite you to become more acquainted with Buffalo State College by attending our mandatory New Student Orientation program.* Orientation has been intentionally designed to meet the needs of our new students and their families.
The Orientation program provides information and events that create a common experience and promotes school spirit by connecting students to each other which fosters student learning and development both in and out of the classroom.
You're ready to begin your college studies at Buffalo State College. You have every reason to expect great things for your future, and Buffalo State is ready to help you get started. Orientation is your chance to ask questions about academics, student services, or simply what it's like to be a student at Buffalo State. At Orientation you will become acquainted with campus facilities; meet other new students; and know why Buffalo State is an excellent choice for your college education.

*Mandatory New Student Orientation program
At Buffalo State College, all new students are required to attend orientation prior to the start of classes. Failure to do so will result in a hold being placed on a student’s registration. Readmit students will need to confirm with the Orientation Office (716) 878-5336 that they have already met the orientation requirement.
