Alison Des Forges: 2005 Baccalaureate Commencement Address

Alison Des Forges, named a MacArthur Fellow in 1999, is author of the award-winning book Leave None to Tell the Story: Genocide in Rwanda. Des Forges serves as expert witness in Rwandan genocide trials at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and has provided evidence to judicial authorities in Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, and the United States.

KidBiz Orientation Session Introduction

Kids in grades three through six have fun and learn a lot running their own small businesses at the KidBiz Market on Elmwood Avenue at Bidwell Parkway. Sponsored by the Buffalo State College Small Business Development Center and Forever Elmwood, kids sell their wares (used toys/clothes, handmade crafts, food and drink) in an open-air market during the summer.  [more…]
