Contemporary Children's Books and Films Lecture: Jerry Griswold

Author Jerry Griswold is a specialist in American literature and culture and in children’s literature. He is the author of seven books, including the prize-winning Audacious Kids (in paperback, The Classic American Children’s Story), The Meanings of “Beauty and the Beast,” and the recent Feeling Like a Kid. Griswold has also published more than 200 essays in the Paris Review, the Nation, the New Republic, the Los Angeles Times, and elsewhere.
