The Centennial Celebration of the Niagara Movement in Buffalo, New York</em>. Filmmaker Avon Kirkland will screen excerpts of his work-in-progress, a film on the legendary Booker T. Washington. Kirkland&#39;s feature length documentary, <em>Ralph Ellison: An American Journey</em>, was an official selection for the 2002 Sundance Film Festival, and was broadcast on PBS by the Emmy Award-winning series, <em>American Masters</em>.
