David Bullough Memorial Award
This award includes a stipend of $60. It was established by former Natural and Social Sciences Dean Dr. Vernon Bullough in memory of his late son. The selection criteria include academic performance, scholarly ability, and purposeful community involvement.
Raymond P. Stone Memorial Award
This award includes a stipend of $100. The Political Science Department established it in memory of our late colleague, Dr. Raymond P. Stone, Professor of Political Science.Dr. Stone served this Department throughout the 1960’s and 1970’s teaching public law courses as well as other political science courses. He was a highly respected member of the Department and the college community. He left a lasting impression on hundreds of Buffalo State alumni, especially those who went on to practice law. Selection criteria include academic performance, dedication to learning, and a demonstrated commitment to pursue a law career.
