I am proud of the intellectual community of teachers and learners who choose to work and study here. Buffalo State is number one among SUNY university colleges in terms of sponsored-program activity, totaling nearly $34 million in research and creative activity last year. These programs have a major impact on the quality of life in our region, allowing for ground-breaking research and effective community partnerships. At Buffalo State, we have true scholars teaching in the classroom. In addition, our undergraduate and graduate research programs involve thousands of students each year, promoting critical thinking and communication skills so highly desired by today's employers.
