Though most students grasp that plagiarism is an ethical issue, they may not fully understand how plagiarism can take form. The Plagiarism Spectrum was developed as a guide to help students identify inappropriate uses of source material.

This webcast examines a recent report published by Turnitin intended to move plagiarism beyond the black-and-white definition of "literary theft" to one that captures the nuances of how plagiarism can take shape in student writing.  Attendees are eligible to receive a free infographic poster depicting the Plagiarism Spectrum.
