This workshop is geared to faculty interested in service-learning pedagogy and new to the practice of incorporating a community based project in the curriculum, but is also an excellent refresher for those who would like to join us. He will address the basics of the theory and practice of service-learning, how to convert a course to include a project, and how to effective assist students reflect on the experience and connect the service to course learning and citizenship. Presented by Dr. Furco.
