Join your colleagues for a discussion about designing writing assignments in ways that foster integrative learning. Sample assignments will be analyzed to determine their demand for critical thinking and their connections to the habits of mind that are essential for college writing. We will compare our own modifications of an assignment and discuss how various versions of an assignment allow different opportunities for integrative learning.
Bagels and coffee will be available at 8:15 and the discussion will be from 8:30 to 10:00.
