Buffalo State works to support adjunct faculty development primarily through individual academic departments. The new Professional Development Office is beginning a program of adjunct faculty development in spring of 2009
The Adjunct Faculty Guidebook offers and abbreviated version of the Handbook for Faculty and Librarians so that new adjunct faculty can quickly find information they need to successfully begin teaching at Buffalo State.

The 2009-2010 Adjunct Faculty Guidebook is available in PDF format. In order to view these files you must have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. Adobe Acrobat's free reader may be downloaded at http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/
New faculty each received a hardcopy of the Handbook at the New Faculty Orientation in August, and new adjuncts will receive the Adjunct Guidebook in September. Please contact Patricia Alessandra in the Academic and Student Affairs Office to provide comments or suggestions for future content.
