Going Green in 2014


Residence Life and Housing are going green in 2014.  Students will receive information about housing selection, student conduct hearings and sanctions, updates about programs, as well as other information pertinent to their living and learning communities via their Buffalo State email accounts and the Residence Life website.  Check your emails for updates and codes for exciting giveaways. 

Starting in January, 2014 the following will be made available via our webpage or through email, by way of your Buffalo State student email accounts.  Please visit this link for updates and current information.   


(Most of the information and forms are already available for downloading and printing; much of this information will remain available to you; any changes will be reflected within the designated tabs)

Housing/Meal Plan application (available as a .PDF, it must be downloaded, printed, and sent in via fax, mail or emailed as an attachment)- see the Prospective Students tab for form 

Exemption Forms (can be emailed to students upon request)- contact the Housing office for more information (

My Housing (students will still be able to access room assignments as well as to complete Emergency contact/missing student information cards)

Break Housing- Done electronically by emailing your current C/RD, if approved, charges are applied to the current semester’s bill

Work Orders- can be submitted electronically (link can be found under the Current Students tab, then maintenance/custodial work orders, or by visiting this link directly; login information is required

Residence Life

– information regarding upcoming programs sponsored by Residence Life will be made available on the website (go to to view the most up to date information on programs and events.  For information on RHA events and programs, click on the RHA tab within this section 

Student Conduct- Students involved in violations of Residence Life Policies will begin receiving letters and/or notifications for hearings, as well as notifications about sanctions and deadlines via email beginning in January, 2014.  Notifications will be sent to the Buffalo State email accounts; except in instances where meetings need to take place immediately or if it involves an administrative hearing, and other very serious infractions.  Students who fail to attend hearings due to not checking their emails will have charges adjudicated in their absence.
