Are you a Scio, New York High School Graduate?
The Marion W. Green Gift for Commitment to the Community recognizes and awards the kind of community commitment in young people that underlies many successful careers, and is provided to help ensure that such dedicated people from Scio complete their education. The grant for current educational costs is $5,000 payable over one or two years, and the one-time award to establish a permanent investment account is $5,000. The award for current educational costs may be applied to college expenses including tuition, room and board, books, supplies and fees. The investment account and planning service are intended to provide a solid financial foundation for the future.
Graduates of Scio High School within the last 20 years who are entering their junior or senior year of college or who are graduate students, and have financial need should apply.
