Career Fair

The Career and Technical Education Program is hosting a Career Fair on November 5 at 6:00-8:00 pm at the Buffalo United Charter School at 325 Manhattan Avenue. Areas of focus include: accounting, architecture, automotive services, diesel technology, business, building trades, computer technology, cosmetology, culinary arts, dentistry, fashion design and textiles, engineering and technology, graphic communications, production and manufacturing, precision metal working, professional educators, welding, and new and emerging occupations. Applying the Key Principles of Diversity into the Curriculum with Dr. Renay Scales

Sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Urban and Rural Education (CEURE), the Buffalo State, NCBI Coalition Building Team, and the Office of the Provost, this workshop will engage faculty in Logic Models developed by Dr. Renay Scales based on over thirty years of research in diversity and ethics. It will engage faculty in learning pragmatic skills and practices that help infuse the principles and practices of diversity into the curriculum. The workshop will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 8:30 am - 12:00 noon in Butler Library 210.
