- Clinically-Rich--classroom experiences for teacher candidates through the Professional Development Schools Consortium (PDS)
- Global--initiatives to encourage international partnerships, study abroad, and global competency
- Literacy--activities on and off campus for community families through the Literacy Center and the Global Book Project
- Mentoring--programs for new School of Education students and faculty
- Research--funding to allow students and faculty to maintain cutting-edge scholarship and pedagogy
- Scholarship--funding for students in underrepresented groups
- Travel--assistance for students presenting action research results at state and national events
- Tutoring--programs through the Center for Excellence in Urban and Rural Education (CEURE) and Community Academic Center (CAC)
- Volunteer--opportunities for faculty, staff, and students to do work in area schools
