SEFA/United Way 2012 Campaign
The United Way is the most comprehensive human service network in our community, funding a variety of programs that help thousands daily. The mission of the United Way is to work in partnership with others to build a stronger community by developing resources that effectively meet human service needs through prevention and intervention programs.
SEFA is the single combined campaign for employees of New York State, providing funds year-round to many health and human service agencies. The SEFA Directory of Participating Charities lists the agencies supported through SEFA. A link to the online Directory of Participating Charities for 2012 will be available this fall. Employees may designate all or part of their gifts to one or more of these agencies.

20th Annual United Way Day of Caring
Again this year members of the Buffalo State College community will participate in the United Way Day of Caring which set for Wednesday, August 15th. The Day of Caring marks the start of the United Way Campaign season.
"The United Way Day of Caring promotes volunteerism and provides important volunteer assistance to community providers. Through participation in Day of Caring, volunteers see first-hand the impact of their United Way contributions, as well as the important work of the human service providers in the community," United Way of Buffalo and Erie County.
